Hot Rolled 1.2379 Steel Flat Bar

1.2379 għodda azzar with hardening air, oil and salts bath, It features good resistance and ebusija for hot and cold treatments. 1.2379 tool steel is normalment used for mould carrier frames, containers for pressure casting, sub-dies for extrusion of aluminum, plastic moulds.

Iżotermali ittemprar:

- Heat to 870÷880 degree ;

- Furnace cooling to 760 degree and hold at temperature for at least 10 hours;

- Kessaħ by 10 grad /h għal 720 grad ;

- Tkessiħ fl arja.

Stress ittaffi:

Biex be carried out after machining and before the final heat treatment.

- Heat to 650-700 degree , hold for 4/6 hours:

- Forn tkessiħ għal 330-350 grad ;

- Tkessiħ fl arja.

Twebbis:

- Initial preheating to 350-450 degree ;

- It-tieni tisħin minn qabel għal 750-850} grad

- Austenitizing at 1010-1040 degree or at 1080-1100 degree ;

- Tkessiħ in arja jew in żejt jekk kbar partijiet.

Quenched ebusija: 62-66 HRC

Ittempra:

Fi il temperatura firxa 150÷300 grad bi minimu azjenda ħin 3 h. For partijiet imwebbes at 1080÷1100 grad , a first tempering will be carried out at 500÷550 degree in order to exploit secondary hardness, followed a second tempering at 180/300 degree .
